STOP!

Are you releasing your music the right way?

A lot of artist's need help with releasing their music.

I designed this quick guide to help you with the basic's of releasing music professionally and profiting from paid streams.

Take the right steps without making errors.

Make sure you do it right!

Music Marketing 101

Before you start just know that each step is an investment. You gotta be ready to invest money into your music. If you believe in your music invest in it!!!

Beat License

You need to own a beat license to the song you use before you release it with a music distributor or you can face copyright claims or get your song removed.

The free beats i got come with a license, if you ever use free beats make sure that they come with a license download. Otherwise, you cant legally release them on streaming platforms.

If you need free beats find some here ->FREE BEATS

Mix & Mastering

You need to get your song professionally mix and mastered before you release your song with a music distributor. Otherwise radio stations and playlists wont accept your song.

If you need help with mixing my prices are affordable and i am budjet friendly.

Music Distribution

You need to sign up with a music distributor.

There are many different music distributors, its a website where you basically upload 1 song and they upload that 1 song to All Platforms such as spotify, itunes etc...

Once your song is released you get paid for views/streams across all platforms.

I tested multiple music distributors

The one i recommend is Routenote, in my expereience they pay out the most for views. They are free. Check them out here - Routenote

Warning!

Avoid music distributors like Rapchat and Bandlab.

The price is crazy and they lack features.

Routenote is a professional music distributor with a free and paid plan.

Rapchat cost 10$ per month and only just started distribution in 2024

Bandlab cost 20$ per month and only started distribution in 2024 as well.

Routenote has been around since 2007!

Promotion

Once you set a release date for your song you need to give it Justice. Dont just release song's or album's and move to the next project. Have money ready to place into promotion and promote your song when it drops. Promote it for 1-2 weeks before you move onto the next project and make sure you let everyone know its out.

There are many ways to promote your music.

AVOID! promotion services that sell followers or views. These are services that sell fake followers and views which are bot accounts that are illegally used to run up views on songs. Music Distributors detect these and you can get your songs removed or account deleted.

Other ways to promote music are:

1. Youtube Ads

2. Social Media Ads

3. Reverbnation Ads

These promotion methods can be expensive and you get little results unless you spend a lot. Over time it adds up.
